WELCOME
We welcome you - whether you want to re-connect with your faith, to explore your spiritual life more deeply or are new to the area and looking for a church home. We prayerfully and practically support each other through the realities of daily life as best we are able.
Children and young teens are warmly welcomed and, when present, are included in our shared life.
Our ministry today also extends to older workers, adults with special needs and retirees (e.g., from farming communities in the region) who are seeking a spiritual home as they settle into Bendigo.
The congregation took the name Chum after the New Chum mine, and because ‘Chum’ denotes friendship and welcome.
In August 2008, we celebrated 150 years since the first service of worship during the mining boom!
