Uniting Emergency Relief is open in the Y COMMUNITY HALL at 10 Lockwood Road, Kangaroo Flat (opposite ALDI) on Tuesdays from 9:00am - 2:30pm; Thursdays 9:00am - 12noon and Fridays 9:00am - 2:30pm.
We have a drop-in centre where the clients can have a coffee or tea and something to eat.
We help people with:
- Food
- Chemist Bills
- Petrol for sickness and urgent appointment's only
- School Fees and Uniforms after the client has asked for help from School Relief Program
- Advice on managing finances
- Can be referred to an agency for extra help such as Financial Adviser, Nil Loans, Counsellor
- Clothing vouchers from Uniting Op Shops
- Presents for children at Christmas
