ABOUT US
The little brick church on the Calder Alternative Highway in Lockwood South represents a long line of Christians who have been serving the community since the Wesleyan church put down roots in 1854. Now known as the Lockwood Uniting Church – we continue to provide a warm country welcome to all who drop by.
We have a worship service at 9.30am each Sunday. The services are friendly, relaxed and inclusive – usually led by our Lay Ministry team. We also have a visiting Minister once per month, when we often share the Lord’s supper in a holy communion service.
A community craft group meets in the church building every fortnight on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.45pm (February to November). Both individual activities and community projects are afoot – and anyone is welcome to bring a craft idea and join in.
